Radium catch cans separate oil and water condensation from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner inlet air raises effective octane and improves performance, lowers hydrocarbon emissions, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The 20-0377-FL PCV kit runs inline with the PCV valve and retains its factory function. The valve closes under boost, so this line sees metered vacuum at idle, cruise and deceleration – and because the Radium can is pressure sealed, a direct intake manifold connection is permitted on this boosted engine. The can secures to the front right-hand motor mount and fits under the OEM engine cover without modification.

Important Notes

• Covers the PCV side only – the crankcase vent side is covered by 20-0378-FL, or buy both as 20-0379-FL
• There is no set emptying interval – check the dipstick from 3-4 weeks and adjust; PCV systems typically collect more than CCV systems
• Excessive collection can indicate an engine problem such as blow-by, an overfilled crankcase, poor breather placement or a PCV valve that does not close under load
