The Radium 20-1267-FL PCV Catch Can Kit suits the 2018-2023 S550 and 2024+ S650 Mustang GT. It mounts on the front RH strut tower and installs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold, using 16mm SAE quick connect fittings and OEM-style spring clamps. The catch can separates oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases before they are drawn into the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler system, throttle body and intake manifold. This effectively raises octane, can improve performance through cleaner inlet air and can lower hydrocarbon emissions, while the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

Radium's Fluid Lock design, introduced in 2022, adds a patented mechanism that stops the reservoir overfilling and traps the collected fluid until the can is emptied, so contaminants can't spill into the intake if servicing is missed.

Important Notes

• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the integrated dipstick after 3-4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional petcock drain kit where there is space under the can
• Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from an overfilled oil level, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve not closing under heavy load
• Mounts on the front RH strut tower – Radium's listing does not specifically mention right-hand-drive (Australian-delivered) vehicles – confirm fitment with iilumolab before ordering
