A catch can separates oil and water from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and manifold. Cleaner intake air helps effective octane and performance, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The 20-0727-FL combines the 20-0725-FL PCV kit (inline between the PCV valve and intake manifold, mounted on the RH strut tower) and the 20-0726-FL CCV kit (inline between the valve cover vent and intake pipe, mounted on the LH side of the unibody near the firewall, clear of the wiper motor on RHD or master cylinders on LHD). Radium recommends the dual kit for maximum protection.

Important Notes

• Not compatible with CA18DET-powered S13 Silvia / 180SX / 200SX
• SR20DET: an optional CCV add-on set (20-0811, 14-0215, 14-0211) is available separately; otherwise the CCV side connects to the OEM valve cover barb
• There is no fixed emptying interval – check the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and repeat as needed (PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans)
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Petcock Drain Kit where there is room under the can
• Excessive oil collection can indicate an engine problem such as excessive blow-by, an overfilled sump, poor breather port placement/baffling or a PCV valve leaking under load
