Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit PCV Side for Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86

Radium Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit PCV Side - Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86

Application: 2012–2021 Toyota 86, 2012–2020 Subaru BRZ, 2012–2016 Scion FR-S
Part Type: PCV-side oil catch can kit (Fluid Lock)
Part Number: 20-0901-FL

The Radium PCV catch can kit separates oil and water condensation from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, helping prevent build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner intake air supports performance and lowers hydrocarbon emissions, and the closed system keeps oil vapours out of the cabin.

This kit mounts on the right-hand side of the engine bay and runs inline with the 3/8" PCV valve hose. Connecting to the intake manifold is permitted, so it also suits boosted applications. Radium redesigned its 7 fl oz catch can in 2022 with a patented Fluid Lock mechanism that prevents overfilling and holds collected fluid until the can is emptied. Everything needed for installation is included.

Optional Parts

• Radium CCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit, Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 / GR86 (2012+) (20-0902-FL) – add the CCV-side kit for full PCV + CCV protection
• Radium Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit (20-0024) – makes emptying the catch can easier where there is space underneath

Important Notes

• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the dipstick at 3–4 weeks and adjust from there; PCV cans typically collect more than CCV cans
• Empty by removing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Petcock Drain Kit if there is space underneath
• Excessive oil collection can point to an engine problem, such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from overfilled oil, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve leaking under heavy load
• Suits both right-hand drive and left-hand drive vehicles
• Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
