A remote mounted fuel filler is not located directly on the fuel tank or fuel cell but somewhere else on the vehicle, such as a guard. The system has three main parts: the remote filler (the housing and cap on the outside of the vehicle), the remote fill neck (the barb or AN connection on the fuel cell or FCST) and the filler hose that joins them.

Dry breaks allow quick fuel filling with no mess. The male dry break probe connects to a dump can fuel jug and the female receiver installs on the vehicle's fuel filler; when the two couplings mesh, both valve seals open and close with synchronised timing so no fuel leaks. Used with a Radium 20-0535 DSV valve, there is no need to monitor the fill as the vent shuts off automatically when full.

This quick fill filler mates with 1.5in male dry break dump cans and is designed for remote mounting to an external surface such as a guard. It includes the 1.5in female vented dry break, gasket, stainless steel hardware, aluminium housing and aluminium nut ring, and the vented cap has roll-over protection in case the vehicle is ever inverted.

Important Notes

• Fill necks, hose and other tank-side accessories are not included
• Mount on a relatively flat surface higher than the fuel tank fill point; Radium's instructions call for a 77mm (3.03in) hole and five 6mm (1/4in) bolt holes
• Mates with Radium 20-0996 or 20-0496 male dry breaks and other dry breaks of the same size
