The Radium 20-1180 replaces both the left and right-side fuel hat assemblies in the BMW E46 saddle tank. It runs one or two aftermarket fuel pumps, reuses the OEM passive and active fuel level sensors and retains a true saddle-tank crossover – with no cutting or modification to the vehicle.

The collector bowl is fed from three sources: the OEM labyrinth, low-pressure return fuel driving the venturi siphon, and crossover fuel scavenged from the passive side. A redesigned PRV venturi jet pump with built-in pressure relief valve limits excess return flow, which can otherwise pop the OEM connection when high-flow pumps run at low load, and allows low static fuel pressure.

• Fittings: Merged pump outlet and return inlet tapped 10AN ORB (7/8"-14), with SAE quick-connect barb to the OEM feed line and 8.5mm barb to the OEM return line
• Electrical: Hermetically sealed anti-rotation stainless studs, anodised aluminium acorn nuts and ETFE-insulated in-tank wiring
• No Modification: Drop-in installation with no cutting or modification

Important Notes

• Fuel pumps not included – verified pumps: Walbro GSS342, F90000267, F90000274, F90000285, F90000295 (no integrated check valve – see 20-1534); Ti Automotive E5LM; Protec 11928 / Fuelab 49614; DeatschWerks DW440, DW810. Other similar pumps may fit but are not verified
• Not compatible with aftermarket Bosch senders – OEM BMW (VDO) senders are required
• Single-pump installs can reuse the OEM pump wiring (upgrade recommended for full power); a second pump requires its own dedicated relay and fuse
