Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Dual Catch Can Kit for Nissan S13

Radium Fluid Lock Dual Catch Can Kit: Nissan S13

Application: Nissan S13 240SX / Silvia / 180SX / 200SX (excluding CA18DET)
Part Type: Dual (PCV + CCV) catch can kit
Part Number: 20-0727-FL

A catch can separates oil and water from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and manifold. Cleaner intake air helps effective octane and performance, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The 20-0727-FL combines the 20-0725-FL PCV kit (inline between the PCV valve and intake manifold, mounted on the RH strut tower) and the 20-0726-FL CCV kit (inline between the valve cover vent and intake pipe, mounted on the LH side of the unibody near the firewall, clear of the wiper motor on RHD or master cylinders on LHD). Radium recommends the dual kit for maximum protection.

Key Features

• Dual Protection: PCV can on the RH strut tower plus CCV can on the LH side near the firewall
• RHD and LHD: CCV can positioned to clear the wiper motor (RHD) or master cylinders (LHD)
• Fluid Lock Design: Radium's patented Fluid Lock mechanism stops the reservoir overfilling and holds collected fluid until it is emptied, so contaminants can't spill back into the intake
• Large Ports: 10AN ORB inlet and outlet ports with a 4AN ORB drain port
• Efficient Separation: 2-step oil separation baffling
• Easy Checking: O-ring sealed dipstick shows how much fluid has been collected
• Capacity: 207ml (7 fl oz)
• Direct Fitment: No drilling required

What's Included

• 20-0725-FL PCV kit and 20-0726-FL CCV kit, each with:
• Baffled Fluid Lock oil catch can
• Nissan mounting bracket
• AN adapter fittings and hose ends
• Stainless steel mounting hardware
• Radium PCV hose

Optional Parts

• Radium 10AN Male Press-Fit Fitting - Nissan S13 SR20DET Exhaust (20-0811) – optional SR20DET CCV add-on
• Radium 14-0215 PushLok Hose End, 10AN 180° (14-0215) – optional SR20DET CCV add-on
• Radium 14-0211 PushLok Hose End, 10AN Straight (14-0211) – optional SR20DET CCV add-on
• Radium Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit (20-0024) – drain the can without removing the reservoir, where there is room underneath

Important Notes

• Not compatible with CA18DET-powered S13 Silvia / 180SX / 200SX
• SR20DET: an optional CCV add-on set (20-0811, 14-0215, 14-0211) is available separately; otherwise the CCV side connects to the OEM valve cover barb
• There is no fixed emptying interval – check the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and repeat as needed (PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans)
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Petcock Drain Kit where there is room under the can
• Excessive oil collection can indicate an engine problem such as excessive blow-by, an overfilled sump, poor breather port placement/baffling or a PCV valve leaking under load
• Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
