Description
Radium Engineering FHST - Nissan 370Z & Z (400Z) | Walbro F90000267/274/285 Compatible (No Pumps)
Application: Nissan 370Z Z34 (2009-2020) and Nissan Z RZ34 (2023+) – RHD and LHD
Part Type: In-tank fuel hanger surge tank (FHST) with integrated regulator – pumps not included
Part Number: 20-1822
The Radium Fuel Hanger Surge Tank (FHST) solves fuel starvation in the saddle-bag style OEM tank of the Nissan Z34 370Z and RZ34 Z, a common problem under aggressive driving such as track use. An internal surge tank (collector box) is installed in the opposite side of the OEM tank and works with the OEM module and venturi jet pumps, avoiding the cabin intrusion of a stand-alone surge tank.
The FHST supports one or two aftermarket surge pumps and includes an integrated 1:1 adjustable fuel pressure regulator – connect the vacuum reference for boost-referenced pressure, or leave it plugged for constant pressure. No body modification, grinding or bending is required, and it is compatible with E85 and other alternative fuels.

Optional Parts
- Radium DIY Fuel Pump Hard Wiring Kit (17-0031) – Required to wire a second surge pump

- Radium Fuel Hanger FPR Block Off Plate - Ford Mustang S197/S550 11+ (20-0806) – Disables the integrated regulator and adds a return port – requires a downstream FPR (not covered in the instructions)
- Radium 20-1000-0606 Low Profile Swivel Banjo Fitting, 6AN ORB to 6AN Male – Recommended fitting for the 20-0806 return port
Important Notes
- Fuel pumps are not included
- The OEM module pump must be upgraded to at least 340 LPH at 40 psi
- The OEM venturi system must be used – do not modify the OEM FPR or OEM venturi jet pumps
- The Radium integrated regulator should be the only FPR in the system
- Fuel starvation will not occur prematurely, but the fuel level gauge will not read accurately
- The FHST "IN" fitting cannot be changed (it contains a venturi component); the "OUT" fitting can be changed
- The OEM low-micron post-pump filter is retained – a downstream aftermarket filter is recommended but not required
- Wiring for a second surge pump requires the 17-0031 wiring kit
- Use a medium-strength wicking threadlocker on the vacuum fitting
- Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
