Radium Engineering Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit for Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 2015-2019

Radium Dual Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit, Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 (2015-2019)

Application: Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 (2015-2019) – LT4 supercharged V8
Part Type: Dual (PCV + CCV) Fluid Lock oil catch can kit
Part Number: 20-1186-FL

The Radium 20-1186-FL Dual Catch Can Kit fits two catch cans to the 2015-2019 Corvette C7 Z06. The CCV can intercepts the dry sump vent line to the intake, catching the oil carried out of the crankcase at high load. On the PCV side, the OEM valve is built into the crankcase valley under the supercharger and can't be reused, so Radium replaces it with a billet bypass that feeds the PCV can.

Both cans mount on an anodised aluminium bracket that attaches to a billet ground plate fixed at three OEM grounding points, with spacers to clear the supercharger pulley. A catch can separates oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases before they reach the intake, helping to keep oil out of the intake tract, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner inlet air can improve performance and lower hydrocarbon emissions, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

Each can uses Radium's Fluid Lock design, introduced in 2022: a patented mechanism stops the reservoir from overfilling and traps the collected fluid until it is emptied, so contaminants can't be drawn back into the intake if servicing is missed.

Key Features

• PCV Bypass Included: Billet bypass replaces the integrated OEM PCV valve
• CCV Can: Intercepts the dry sump vent line to the intake
• Ground Plate Mount: Billet ground plate at 3 OEM grounding points, with spacers to clear the supercharger pulley
• Fluid Lock: Patented Fluid Lock system stops the reservoir overfilling and traps collected fluid until the can is emptied
• Large Ports: 10AN ORB inlet and outlet ports
• Drain Port: 4AN ORB drain port
• 2-Step Baffling: Two-step oil separation baffling
• Dipstick: O-ring sealed dipstick to check the fluid level
• Capacity: 207ml (7 fl oz) reservoir
• Direct Fitment: Vehicle-specific bracket, no drilling required

What's Included

• Baffled oil catch cans with integrated condenser and dipstick (x2)
• Anodised PCV valve bypass with SAE quick connect
• Billet aluminium ground plate and spacers
• Anodised aluminium catch can bracket
• SAE quick connect fittings
• Stainless steel hardware
• 3/8in PCV rubber hose
• Spring clamps

Optional Parts

• Radium Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit (20-0024) – drain the can without removing the lower reservoir, where there is space under the can

Important Notes

• Installation requires removing the supercharger cover, belt and housing to replace the OEM PCV valve
• Hose lengths depend on the air intake brand and routing
• For the LT1 C7 (non-Z06), see the 20-0985-FL, 20-0986-FL and 20-0987-FL kits
• Cars with Magnetic Ride Control need a wiring harness stay pried up/removed during installation
• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional petcock drain kit where there is space under the can
• Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from an overfilled oil level, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve leaking under heavy load
• Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
