The Radium Engineering PCV Catch Can Kit for the R35 GT-R installs a single catch can inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold (vacuum side). It mounts in the left-hand side of the engine bay near the brake master cylinder at the rear of the engine compartment.

At idle, steady cruise and deceleration this hose sees metered vacuum, which can draw crankcase vapour, unburned fuel and oil sludge into the intake; the can captures those liquids before they reach the engine. Because Radium cans are pressure sealed, no inline check valve is needed for a direct intake manifold connection, and the patented Fluid Lock design prevents the reservoir overfilling into the intake.

Important Notes

• Not directly compatible with 2008-2011 GT-Rs that do not have an OEM strut bar
• RHD vehicles may require some modification for mounting the PCV can
• No inline check valve is required – Radium cans are pressure sealed
• The can must be emptied periodically – PCV cans typically collect more than CCV cans
• Check the level with the integrated dipstick from 3-4 weeks of driving and empty as needed by unscrewing the lower reservoir (or fit a petcock drain kit where space allows)
