A catch can collects oil and water condensation from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, keeping oil out of the intake, intercooler walls, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner intake air helps effective octane and performance, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The 20-0873-FL suits the non-M E46 3-Series and includes everything needed for installation, including Radium V2 quick-connect 10AN adapter fittings. The patented Fluid Lock can stops the reservoir overfilling and holds collected fluid until it is emptied.

Important Notes

• LHD only – Radium states this kit was not designed for RHD vehicles
• Not for the E46 M3 – use 20-0073-FL
• There is no fixed emptying interval – check the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and repeat as needed (PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans)
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Petcock Drain Kit where there is room under the can
• Excessive oil collection can indicate an engine problem such as excessive blow-by, an overfilled sump, poor breather port placement/baffling or a PCV valve leaking under load
