A catch can collects oil and water vapour from the crankcase gases before they reach the intake, reducing build-up in the intake tract, intercooler, throttle body and manifold. Radium notes this can help effective octane, performance and hydrocarbon emissions, and because the system is closed it also keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

Designed for the VQ37VHR engine bay, the two cans mount to the LH and RH strut towers and run inline with the twin PCV valves in the valve covers, retaining factory PCV function. The cans are pressure sealed, so no extra inline check valve is needed and a direct intake manifold connection is permitted. Radium's patented Fluid Lock design (introduced 2022) prevents the reservoir from overfilling and holds the collected fluid until it is emptied. Everything needed for installation is included.

Important Notes

• No extra inline check valve is required – the cans are pressure sealed
• Emptying frequency varies – start checking the dipstick 3-4 weeks after installation; PCV setups tend to collect more than CCV setups
• Excessive oil collection can point to engine issues such as blow-by, crankcase windage from overfilling, poor breather placement/baffling or a PCV valve leaking under load
