The Radium Dual Catch Can Kit for EJ turbo Subarus uses two independent cans, each plumbed into a different part of the crankcase ventilation system. They collect oil and water condensation before it reaches the intake, cutting buildup in the intake, intercooler piping, throttle body and manifold.

At light throttle the PCV-line can does most of the work; at full throttle the PCV valve closes and the crankcase vent can takes over. The system is closed loop (not vented to atmosphere), retains the factory plumbing strategy and includes everything needed for installation.

• Radium Cruise Control Relocation Bracket - Subaru Impreza/Forester 01-05 (13-0110) – required on 2002–2005 vehicles with a cable-actuated throttle body
• Radium Catch Can Petcock Drain Kit (20-0024) – drain the can without removing the lower reservoir, where there is room underneath

Important Notes

• NOT compatible with RHD vehicles (including Australian-delivered cars) – the kit mounts on the RH strut tower and the location interferes on RHD models; custom mounting and hose extensions would be required
• 2002–2005 vehicles with a cable-actuated throttle body must use the Cruise Control Relocation Bracket (13-0110)
• The heat shield must be removed (four bolts) to service the cans
• Radium's Fluid Lock design (introduced 2022) uses a patented mechanism that prevents the can from being overfilled and holds collected fluid until it is emptied
• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans typically fill faster than CCV cans
• Excessive oil collection can point to an engine issue such as high blow-by, an overfilled sump, poor breather placement or a PCV valve not sealing under load
