A catch can separates oil and water from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and manifold. Cleaner intake air helps effective octane and performance, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

The 20-0725-FL PCV kit runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold and mounts to the threaded bosses on the RH strut tower, clear of the fuel filter. The PCV side sees flow mainly at idle, cruise and deceleration. Because the can is pressure sealed, no inline check valve is required.

Important Notes

• Not compatible with CA18DET-powered S13 Silvia / 180SX / 200SX
• The PCV and CCV kits (20-0725-FL / 20-0726-FL) are designed to be used together
• There is no fixed emptying interval – check the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and repeat as needed (PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans)
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Petcock Drain Kit where there is room under the can
• Excessive oil collection can indicate an engine problem such as excessive blow-by, an overfilled sump, poor breather port placement/baffling or a PCV valve leaking under load
