Description
Radium RA Series FPR Fuel Pressure Regulator Conversion Kit
Application: Universal – previous-generation Radium adjustable fuel pressure regulators
Part Type: RA-series fuel pressure regulator conversion kit
Part Number: 20-1101-00
The Radium RA-Series FPR Conversion Kit allows all previous Radium Engineering adjustable fuel pressure regulators to be converted to an RA-Series FPR, adding the newest RA-Series features and performance improvements to an existing regulator.
It suits all generations of the Radium Direct Mount Regulator, Multi-Port Regulator and Fuel Pressure Regulator Damper, as well as Radium hangers and surge tanks with an integrated regulator.
Key Features
- Tool-less Adjustment: Turn the knob to set fuel pressure – detents give approx. 1 psi (±0.5 psi) per click, no jam nut or set screw
- Stable Pressure: Single stainless steel return orifice designed for laminar flow
- 1:1 Vacuum Reference: 360° swivelling, double O-ring sealed vacuum port
- Interchangeable Vacuum Fittings: Four #10-32 threaded fittings: 5mm barb, 3AN male, 1/4in push-to-connect and vacuum plug for returnless systems
- Wide Compatibility: Converts DMR, MPR and FPR damper regulators of all generations
- Fuel Compatibility: All petrol types (unleaded, leaded, oxygenated, pre-mix) plus methanol, ethanol and E85
What's Included
- Upper rotating assembly
- 5mm barbed vacuum fitting
- Vacuum plug fitting (returnless)
- 1/4in push-to-connect vacuum fitting
- 3AN male vacuum fitting
- Anodised half moon retainers
- Stainless steel return orifice
- Stainless button head screws
- Stainless steel spring
- Fluorosilicone diaphragm
Important Notes
- Use a wicking, medium-strength threadlocker when installing the vacuum fitting
- A rapid fuel pressure drop after shut-off is normal for aftermarket regulators – pressure resets when the pump runs again
- Long cranking or slow pressure build-up is not caused by the regulator – it typically indicates fuel draining back to the tank from an internal pump module leak (e.g. venturi jet pump or missing check valve)
- Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
