The Radium Engineering Baffled Oil Cap VTE Kit reintroduces a true PCV system on GM LS engines. On turbocharged or centrifugally supercharged engines without a functioning PCV valve, the crankcase can pressurise and cause sealing problems; this kit adds a billet O-ring sealed PCV valve that restores crankcase vacuum in all conditions and allows only metered air into the intake, while the baffled cap adds service-free air/oil separation.

On Gen III engines, the kit replaces a potentially old, brittle PCV valve with a new billet O-ring sealed unit and adds service-free air/oil filtration. Crankcase blow-by increases during aggressive driving, and filtering the oil-laden vapour out before it returns to the intake helps protect performance.
