Description
Radium Split Flow Flex Fuel Sensor Adaptor
Application: Universal – GM flex fuel sensors 13577429 / 13507129 (also 13577379 and 13577394)
Part Type: Split-flow flex fuel sensor adapter
Part Number: 20-0589
The Radium Engineering split-flow adapter divides the fuel flow into an auxiliary passage that runs parallel to the flex fuel sensor. Because the sensor remains inline with the fuel path, it can accurately read ethanol content at both high and low engine demand – in a far more compact package than a hose and Y-fitting setup.
The adapter can be used in the feed or return line, although plumbing it in the feed line upstream of the injectors gives better accuracy and faster response. It is machined in four pieces from billet 6061 aluminium, black anodised and laser engraved, and sealed with double FKM O-rings.
Key Features
- Split-Flow Design: Sensor reads ethanol content accurately at high and low demand
- Compact Package: Replaces bulky hose and Y-fitting arrangements
- 10AN Equivalent Flow: Flow equivalent to a 10AN (5/8") line
- Feed or Return Line: Feed line upstream of the injectors recommended
- Double FKM O-Rings: 8 O-rings – primary and backup seals
- Billet Construction: 4-piece 6061 aluminium, black anodised and laser engraved
What's Included
- Split-flow adapter body (4-piece billet aluminium)
- FKM O-rings
- Stainless steel metric hardware
- Mounting bracket (suits GM 13577429 / 13507129 sensors)
Important Notes
- Flex fuel sensor is not included
- Fittings are not included – select fittings to suit your fuel line size and type (10AN ORB end ports)
- GM 13577379 and 13577394 sensors already have three usable mounting holes, so the included mount is not used
- The GM 13577394 sensor (as used in the Haltech HT-011000 kit) requires a minor modification described in the instructions
- Expect up to approximately 10 psi (0.7 bar) of pressure drop when used in the feed line with multiple pumps on a high-powered engine
- Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
