Description
Radium SAE Fuel Level Sender, 0-90 Ohm, 11.7"
Application: Radium FCST and FCST-X fuel cell surge tanks (required for older 20-049X-XX and 20-069X-XX FCSTs)
Part Type: Non-shrouded 5-bolt SAE fuel level sender, 0-90 ohm
Part Number: 20-0747-297
The Radium 20-0747-297 is a non-shrouded fuel level sender with the standard 5-bolt SAE mounting pattern used on Radium fuel cell surge tanks. It is compatible with all Radium FCST and FCST-X part numbers, and is the sender required for the older 20-049X-XX and 20-069X-XX FCSTs, whose bores are too small for the newer shrouded senders.
Like all Radium senders it reads 0 ohm empty to 90 ohm full – matching many aftermarket gauges – and uses a fully sealed stainless steel probe with a magnetic float.
Key Features
- 5-Bolt SAE: Standard 5-bolt SAE mounting flange
- 0-90 Ohm: Reads 0 ohm (empty) to 90 ohm (full), matching many aftermarket gauges
- Sealed Construction: Fully sealed stainless steel probe with magnetic float
- Non-Shrouded: Suits older Radium FCSTs that cannot accept the 40mm shrouded sender
Optional Parts
- Radium Fuel Level Sender, 0-90 ohm, 11.7in, Shrouded (20-0847-297) – shrouded 11.7in sender for newer 20-099X FCSTs and FCST-X
- Radium Fuel Level Sensor Block-Off Kit (20-0146) – block-off kit for installs without a sender
- Radium 12AN ORB 5-Bolt SAE Adapter (20-0439) – 12AN ORB vent adapter for custom installs without a sender
Important Notes
- Radium lists 20-0747-297 as discontinued – the current shrouded equivalent for newer FCSTs (20-099X-XX) and FCST-X (20-199X-XX) is 20-0847-297
- Radium does not supply gauges – a 0-90 ohm fuel level gauge is required; if the output does not suit your OEM gauge a resistance converter may be needed
- Test the sender by measuring resistance between its two wires while tipping the float
- Maximum internal tank pressure 6 psi; tighten mounting bolts to 15-20 in-lb
- Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
Vehicle Fitment
- Radium FCST and FCST-X fuel cell surge tanks (5-bolt SAE sender port)
- Older Radium FCST 20-049X-XX and 20-069X-XX (non-shrouded sender required)
