Recharging a Radium fuel vent charcoal canister will not be a frequent job, but it depends on usage – if the internal carbon becomes overly saturated, filtration efficiency drops. The canister can be disassembled and recharged with fresh activated carbon and a new 150 micron strainer using this service kit.

Servicing is simple: flip the canister over, remove the screws, discard the old carbon, replace the screen and add the new carbon – without overfilling, so the mounting plate can still be reinstalled.

Important Notes

• Excess fuel reaching the canister reduces the efficiency of the carbon
• Do not overfill with carbon – the mounting plate must still be able to be reinstalled
