Description
Radium Fuel Pulse Damper OEM Style
Application: Universal – electronic fuel injection systems with a 3/8" NPT port
Part Type: OEM-style fuel pulse damper, 3/8" NPT male
Part Number: 14-0128
The opening and closing of fuel injectors creates pulses in the fuel rail that can lead to unstable fuel pressure. A fuel pulse damper should be used (especially with high-flow injectors) to maintain safe, consistent rail pressure. The internal diaphragm absorbs the oscillations and smooths fuel pressure – a correction that can be measured throughout the RPM range and can often help resolve an erratic, surging idle.
This OEM-quality damper has a 3/8" NPT male thread with impregnated pipe thread paste and can be installed into any 3/8" NPT port.
Key Features
- Pressure Stabilisation: Internal diaphragm absorbs injector pulses and smooths rail pressure
- OEM Quality: OEM-style damper construction
- Thread: 3/8"-18 NPT male with impregnated pipe thread paste
- Optimal Range: Approximately 3 bar (43.5psi)
Important Notes
- Dampers cannot be used with mechanical fuel pumps – the pump pulses can quickly rupture the diaphragm
- Metal colour varies
