The Radium Fuel Collection Check Valve acts as a one-way trap door inside a fuel cell collector box, keeping fuel in the box regardless of which direction the vehicle is moving. Multiple valves are typically placed around a collector box to guard against fuel slosh.
A large 1in ball maximises flow, while full-travel slots – rather than round drilled holes – stop the ball from getting stuck and allow the collector to fill quickly.
