Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Crankcase Catch Can Kit for Ford Focus ST LZ 2015-2018

Radium Fluid Lock Crankcase Catch Can Kit - Ford Focus ST LZ 2015-2018

Application: Ford Focus ST (2015-2018) EcoBoost
Part Type: Fluid Lock crankcase vent (CCV) oil catch can kit
Part Number: 20-0357-FL

Radium catch cans separate oil and water condensate from crankcase gases before they reach the intake, preventing oil build-up in the intake, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. It is a closed system, so oil vapours are kept out of the cabin.

On the crankcase (CCV) side, the can runs inline with the crankcase breather port. At low load this line sees atmospheric pressure, but at wide-open throttle crankcase flow is high and can leave oil and sludge in the intake pipe and intercooler, reducing intercooler efficiency and performance. The kit mounts on the back LH side of the engine bay.

Key Features

• Fluid Lock System: Patented design prevents the reservoir overfilling and holds collected fluid until emptied
• Large Ports: 10AN ORB inlet and outlet ports
• Drain Port: 4AN ORB drain port
• Two-Step Baffling: Two-stage oil separation
• O-Ring Sealed Dipstick: Check fluid level without removing the can
• Capacity: 207ml (7 fl oz)
• Direct Fit: No drilling required

What's Included

• Fluid Lock catch can
• Anodised aluminium mount bracket
• Anodised aluminium AN adapter fittings and hose ends
• PCV hose for custom applications
• Stainless steel mounting hardware

Optional Parts

• Radium Fluid Lock PCV Catch Can Kit - Ford Focus ST LW/LZ 11-18/Focus RS LZ 16-17 (20-0315-FL) – Matching PCV side catch can (requires 20-0356 Sound Symposer Delete on the Focus ST)

Important Notes

• CCV side only – the PCV and CCV catch cans work independently; the 20-0358-FL dual kit combines both for the Focus ST
• The Focus RS uses the 20-0316-FL CCV kit
• There is no fixed emptying interval – check the dipstick from 3-4 weeks of driving, then as needed; PCV cans typically collect more than CCV cans
• Excessive oil collection can indicate an engine problem such as excessive blow-by or an overfilled oil level
• Empty by unscrewing the reservoir, or fit a Radium Petcock Drain Kit (sold separately) where there is space
• Installation instructions are available in the Instructions tab
