The Radium 20-1564-FL Dual Catch Can Kit is Radium's recommended option for the ultimate in engine protection on the 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V. It combines the 20-1562-FL PCV kit and the 20-0563-FL CCV kit in a single part number, so both sides of the LSA crankcase ventilation system are covered.

The PCV can mounts inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold on a bracket that replaces the OEM intercooler coolant filler bracket, and a baffled oil cap is supplied to replace the restrictive 2.5mm OEM fixed orifice. The CCV can mounts to three OEM threaded bosses at the rear of the supercharger housing, inline between the CCV ports and the intake pipe, catching the oil carried out of the crankcase at high load. A catch can separates oil and water condensation from the crankcase gases before they reach the intake, helping to keep oil out of the intake tract, intercooler, throttle body and intake manifold. Cleaner inlet air can improve performance and lower hydrocarbon emissions, and the closed system keeps oil vapour out of the cabin.

Each can uses Radium's Fluid Lock design, introduced in 2022: a patented mechanism stops the reservoir from overfilling and traps the collected fluid until it is emptied, so contaminants can't be drawn back into the intake if servicing is missed.

Important Notes

• Also available separately as the 20-1562-FL PCV kit and 20-0563-FL CCV kit
• The CCV kit alone does not address blow-by from the PCV side – this dual kit covers both
• There is no fixed emptying interval – start checking the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and adjust from there; PCV cans generally collect more than CCV cans
• Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional petcock drain kit where there is space under the can
• Excessive collection can point to an engine issue such as blow-by from engine damage, crankcase windage from an overfilled oil level, poor breather port placement or baffling, or a PCV valve leaking under heavy load
