Radium Engineering 20-1000-1085-PCV Swivel Banjo PCV Valve, 10AN ORB to 8.5mm Barb

Radium 20-1000-1085-PCV Swivel Banjo PCV Valve, 10AN ORB to 8.5mm Barb

Application: Universal (Radium Competition Catch Cans, Radium PCV baffle plates, 10AN ORB ports with extra clearance)
Part Type: Swivel banjo PCV valve (10AN ORB to 8.5mm barb)
Part Number: 20-1000-1085-PCV

The Radium Engineering 20-1000-1085-PCV combines a Radium PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve with a low profile 90-degree swivel banjo, going from a 10AN ORB inlet to an 8.5mm barb outlet. Use it when the OEM PCV valve is removed, needs to be relocated to the catch can outlet, or on engines that do not have a PCV valve at all.

Like an OEM PCV valve, the internal plunger dynamically meters crankcase vent airflow based on engine load. A proper PCV valve avoids the vacuum leak a simple check valve would create at low engine loads, closes during an intake backfire so combustible vapours cannot ignite inside the crankcase, and closes under boost on turbocharged and supercharged engines to stop intake pressure entering the crankcase.

Key Features

• Dynamic metering: internal plunger meters crankcase vent airflow to suit engine load
• Backfire and boost protection: closes during an intake backfire and under boost
• Low profile swivel: 90-degree swivel banjo outlet
• Construction: stainless steel 10AN ORB section, anodised aluminium outlet section, FKM and silicone O-rings
• Ready to fit: supplied fully assembled with a 10AN ORB FKM O-ring installed

What's Included

• 1 x Radium 20-1000-1085-PCV swivel banjo PCV valve, fully assembled with a 10AN ORB FKM O-ring installed

Important Notes

• Requires an extra 6.7mm (0.26in) of clearance after the threads for the O-ring to seat.
• Fits Radium Competition Catch Cans and Radium PCV baffle plates. Does NOT fit Radium standard or Fluid Lock catch cans due to port depth.
• Fits other 10AN ORB ports only if they have the extra clearance required.
