Radium Engineering fuel level senders are built to the standard SAE 5-bolt pattern for use with Radium fuel cell surge tanks. The sealed 304 stainless steel probe uses a magnetic float and reads 0 ohm empty to 90 ohm full – a range common with aftermarket gauges.

The 8.0in (203mm) shrouded sender is used in Radium's 6, 10 and 10.5 gallon spare-tyre RA-Series fuel cells, and is supplied with an FKM gasket, stainless hardware and a Deutsch DT 2-pin connector.

Important Notes

• Used in Radium 6, 10 and 10.5 gallon spare-tyre RA-Series fuel cells
• Shrouded senders (20-0847-XXX) fit only the newer FCST (20-099X-XX) and FCST-X (20-199X-XX) – the 40mm shroud requires a thru-hole of at least that size
• Older FCST tanks (20-049X-XX and 20-069X-XX) require the non-shrouded 20-0747-XXX sender
• Reads 0 ohm (empty) to 90 ohm (full) – a 0-90 ohm fuel level gauge is required. Radium does not sell gauges
• If your OEM gauge is not compatible, a resistance signal converter (e.g. Classic Instruments SN34) may be used – Radium has no experience with these converters
• Senders purchased with an FCST or FCST-X come pre-installed
• To test, measure the resistance across the two wires while tipping the sender so the float moves
