Description
Koyo Performance Radiator – Toyota Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno AE85/AE86 MT 1983–1987
Application: Toyota Corolla Levin (E-AE85) & Sprinter Trueno (E-AE86) | 3A-U & 4A-GEU Petrol RWD | Manual Transmission
Part Number: HH010681 / KH010681
The AE86 needs no introduction. The Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno are among the most celebrated lightweight sports cars ever built — revered for their balance, their high-revving 4A-GEU twin-cam, and a driving experience that's stood the test of time. Whether you're running a stock 4A-GEU or have built something more serious, keeping coolant temperatures in check is fundamental to getting the most out of this platform.
Koyorad's all-aluminium radiator is a direct bolt-in performance upgrade for both the AE85 and AE86, engineered to the same factory fit and mounting points as the OE unit. Nocolok furnace brazed, precision TIG welded by hand, and triple pressure tested — it retains all OEM fan shroud mounts and stock hose connections with no modifications required.
Why Koyorad?
- Precise Tube & Fin Alignment — Strict quality control ensures optimal coolant flow and maximum heat transfer efficiency across the entire core.
- Nocolok Furnace Brazing — All tubes, fins, headers, and brackets are bonded in a state-of-the-art Nocolok furnace, creating a structure that resists vibration, road debris, and the elements.
- Billet Filler Neck — Precision-machined billet filler necks are fitted to every unit for superior strength, durability, and a reliable seal.
- OE-Specific Mounting — Application-specific mounting points for fan shrouds, inlet/outlet hoses, and top/bottom pins ensure a pain-free, no-modification install.
- Hand-Crafted Heliarc Welds — Each radiator is individually Heliarc welded by hand, creating the strongest possible aluminium-to-aluminium bond across all components.
