DIXCEL 2-Piece Front Brake Rotor Pair for Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5) – 350x32mm

Dixcel 2-Piece Brake Discs deliver race-proven performance for the Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5), offering exceptional heat stability, consistency, and reduced unsprung weight for both spirited street use and hard circuit driving. Developed for severe endurance conditions, these rotors provide outstanding cooling efficiency and reliable braking even under repeated high-temperature loads.

Each assembly includes the disc, aluminium bell, and hardware, engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement with no modifications required. High-carbon castings, heat-treatment processing, and precise vane construction provide superior crack resistance and stable performance during continuous high-load operation.

Key Features

• Complete 2-piece assembly: disc, bell, and hardware
• Direct bolt-on for the listed applications – no modification required
• High-carbon rotor material for improved thermal stability
• Heat-treated rotors for enhanced durability under repeated high-temperature cycling
• Anti-corrosion coated for long-term protection
• Slotted design for consistent bite and pad deglazing
• Left- and right-specific directional vanes for optimal cooling
• Individual replacement rings and bells available separately

Bedding-In Procedure (Mandatory)

Correct bedding-in is critical for performance and rotor life, especially for track use:

• Perform 40 consecutive medium-hard brake applications from 120 km/h down to 80 km/h.
• Some minor judder may appear – this will reduce as bedding-in progresses.
• Complete a gentle cool-down lap to bring rotor temperature below 100°C.
• Ensure the pad transfer layer has turned a uniform white-grey approximately 1 mm deep.
• Check for full pad contact, no hot spots, and no abnormal material deposits.

Installation Notes

• FP-type rotors use directional curved vanes – left and right must be installed correctly.
• Cooling efficiency is significantly reduced if installed backwards.
• Follow the L/R markings on each rotor.
• Refer to the included user manual before installation.

Vehicle Compatibility

• Honda Civic Type R FK8 (2017–2021)
• Honda Civic Type R FL5 (2023+)
