Radium Engineering Dynamic Safety Valves (DSV) provide both fuel fill shut-off and roll-over protection. When the tank is full, the upper sealing ball floats up and shuts off the vent, which stops fuel travelling up and out of the vent line. With a dry break refuelling system a small amount of pressure then builds in the cell and the dump can begins to "chug" – this is by design and tells the operator the cell is full and the dry break can be released.

The 20-0935 high fill DSV is intended for fuel cells with a larger footprint, a taller filler height, or both. It shuts off venting later than the low fill 20-0535, so more fuel goes in – ideal for large cells and remote fillers mounted well above the cell.

Important Notes

• The top shut-off ball must sit lower than the highest point of the fuel fill point
• At least one section of vent tubing (not included) must sit above the highest fill point
• Designed for use with vented dry break receivers that do not pressurise
• Not for early 20-014X-XX FCST units, which only have 8AN ORB vent ports
